Me: The local grocery store is having a free pancake breakfast tomorrow morning. We should go.
Smarty-Pants: (exclaiming with excitement) Will they serve ice cream?!?
Me: Sorry, not for breakfast.
Smarty-Pants: I don't want to go.

Dad: (to Smarty-Pants, reading invitation) It says here they will serve "summer snacks" at your Primary activity tomorrow. That sounds good.
Smarty-Pants: Is chocolate a "summer snack"?
